• Evidence of ability to perform tasks as outlined under Responsibilities

Job Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Secretary to Colden Elementary School Principal
• Type, file, and maintain records of official correspondence for the building administrator.
• Screen telephone calls and visitors, take adequate messages, and schedule appointments as needed for principals.
• Act as the switchboard operator for all building staff and offices; direct messages to voicemails.
• Compose and distribute various mailings for staff, students, and parents.
• Process staff requisitions, place orders for materials and supplies, manage budget accounts and purchasing for staff, and keep accurate backup materials for payment submission.
• Assist with annual duties, including but not limited to preparing, organizing, and facilitating annual events
• Record, proof, and submit payroll timesheets and claim forms biweekly.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively and accurately with various groups.
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the building principal
