• Ensure compliance with HACCP principles regarding food receipt, preparation, and storage. • Assist in maintaining compliance with National School Lunch Program. • Oversees and may assist Food Service Helpers in preparing ingredients. • Maintains cleanliness of cooking and serving areas and surfaces. • Actively participates and may oversee the cleaning of tools and equipment used in food preparation. • Other duties as assigned by the Cook Manager/Director of Culinary Services
• High School diploma or equivalent. • Familiarity with kitchen appliances, food preparation, food service, and cleaning in a cafeteria setting. • Evidence of ability to perform tasks as outlined under responsibilities.
