Job Description

Springville-Griffith Institute CSD is seeking a qualified and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our athletics department. This individual will work closely with student athletes, coaches, and healthcare providers to prevent, diagnose, and treat sports-related injuries. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports medicine and committed to the safety and well-being of our student athletes.

The ideal candidate will:

• Provide athletic training services during practices, games, and events for all school-sponsored sports.
• Evaluate and treat injuries, including taping, bracing, and rehabilitative exercises.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all athletes under the care of the athletic trainer.
• Develop injury prevention programs and conduct baseline concussion testing.
• Coordinate care with our CSMO; Springville Pediatrics.
• Serve as a first responder in the event of a sports injury.
• Ensure compliance with school, state, and national athletic regulations.
• Assist with administering the Athletic Placement Process (APP).
• Communicate effectively with the Director of Athletics.

Certification:

Athletic Training Certification (ATC) preferred.  Candidates with comparable medical, physical therapy, first aid, and emergency medical technician training are also encouraged to apply.

Salary and Benefits:

This is a stipend position under the Springville Faculty Association teachers' collective bargaining agreement.  The adjusted stipend for the 2025-2026 school year will be $30,000.

 

Job Qualifications

Athletic Training Certification (ATC) preferred.  Candidates with comparable medical, physical therapy, first aid, and emergency medical technician training are also encouraged to apply.
